I was dependent on a walker for SEVEN years, and I have experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to enter the building, negotiate the bathroom doors, and—perhaps most painfully—how humiliating it can feel to be “needy.” These necessary improvements will make it possible for people with mobility limitations to enter, participate, and fellowship with other believers—because accessibility has made it possible for them to be there."
